Satyamev Jayate: Is Love a crime?

Really? IS it such a henious crime that people literally target you, kill you and make your life miserable? Depends on lot of things actually. Aamir takes up two court cases, and digs more deeper into their stories. You will feel lot of pain when you hear the truth from sufferer’s words. And the way the gram panchayat’s shameless heads come to the show and still manage to keep their stupid traditions sound like Ramayana – no amount of beating would
bring them to their senses.

Somehow, I’m cynical when it comes to supporting or not supporting love. These things are highly situational and unless we know fair amount of the participants and their backgrounds – cannot comment on the society or lovers. But, end of the day – if the Indian constitution allows 18 year old girl and 21 year old boy to select their prime minister, it’s time their parents listened to what they have to say. As rightful guardians of their loved ones, they can then decide if their respective kids will be happy. No one can rule out the experience parents bring to their kid’s lives. But, should they guide or should they overshadow their kids lifes?

The guy heading love commandos group came and make some cheerful statements, which were the only relief in the entire show. Overall, I’d rather not watch this episode.
