Book Review : A good Indian wife

Rating : 2.5/5

The book made me sick. Again, and again and again. All the people whom I told why, it equally made them sick too. It’s not that it’s bad. Being an Indian movie lover – I am used to enjoying logic less and brain less things – this one just goes over the board.

The best part : Indian descriptions of places and people in the book, and the leading lady
The worst part : the leading guy – suneel or neel, as he likes to be called.

Being a successful doctor and a person having strong opinions – it appears a joke that he let his life be exactly opposite of what he wants and do nothing about it. Atleast the book would have been interesting, if the French lady wasn’t so week or needy in character.

Back to review. The 2.5 is for depicting some of the Indian things beautifully. But, frankly – this book is a big let down in depicting the culture clash between India and USA.

If you still want to read this, just borrow from local library. Buying is strictly unnecessary.

Have a good day and keep rocking!!
