Okay, this post is not preaching you all how to do this, rather to let the world know of a fantastic desktop widget i recently discovered.
At http://whatsyourposture.com.au/sit-right/about-the-sit-right-widget/, you can download the widget for your OS. And then, just start using it. I’ve been using it for a fortnight now, and i can say that this is definitely useful for stressful days at work. One of these days, It’s hard to force yourself to get away from your desk. This app does the gentle nudging you’ll need. You’ll need admin rights on your desktop, though.
The default timing is 1 hour, but you can change it to 40 minutes or 20 minutes if you wish.

They also have a walking app. With tons of run tracking apps on my iphone – I didn’t download this, but if you have no fitness apps and want to see how much walking you are doing every day- just give it a try.
And oh, another thing. Go Facebook and like the page “Spinal Health Week“. If you are an Australian citizen, you can enter their competition running from May 21 to May 27 and may even win a pair of vivo shoes to the office.
